What topics are we interested in?

We are keen to feature new voices from diverse backgrounds and organisations of all sizes at our events. We are also particularly interested in people who can speak about the following:

- Using AI in the boardroom: uses of AI to strengthen strategic decision-making, governance and oversight.

- Influencing in your area and beyond: building effective relationships with councillors, mayors and local decision-makers to advance organisational priorities.

- Community cohesion and board leadership: examples of how boards are responding to community tensions, fostering cohesion and demonstrating social responsibility.

- Funding innovation: exploring new funding approaches, partnerships and investment models to support organisational objectives.

- Learning from complaints: leveraging complaints insights to strengthen governance, improve services and enhance resident outcomes.

- Climate resilience and future-proofing homes: the board's role in shaping sustainability strategy and preparing homes and communities for increasing climate risks.

It may help to have considered:

• Content – what you hope to convey and achieve.
• Format – how do you want to communicate your message? Is it a presentation? A case study? Part of a discussion? A workshop?
• Speakers – who will deliver your session at the conference?
• Audience – who are you pitching your session at?
• Takeaways – what do you want delegates to walk away with?

What happens if my submission is successful?
A member of the Events team will contact you to discuss further. You will then receive confirmation of the session and attendance details.
