Travelling to the venue (Hilton Deansgate, 303 Deansgate, Manchester M3 4LQ)

There is some planned travel disruption the week of the event so we recommend planning your journey ahead of the day(s). Further travel and parking information can be found here.

If you need to use a cloakroom there is one located in the hotel lobby by the main entrance. Then head up the stairs or take the lift to the 1st floor where the whole event will take place. The registration desk can be found on the left hand side. All sessions will take place on the 1st floor and all rooms are accessible.

Day one

Registration will open at 08:30 and remain open for the whole event. Once you collect your badge refreshments will be available. We are holding a welcome breakfast for new board members at the Federation stand from 08:45.

The main event begins at 10:00 with the chairs opening remarks. Sessions will then run throughout the day until 17:05. There is no need to pre-select sessions, please just go to what you like on the day. The only session with a limited capacity on day one is "Chairs talking" which runs between 11:45 and 12:45 and is limited to Chairs only.

Networking reception and conference dinner

From 18:00 we will be holding a networking reception at the conference venue followed by dinner at 19:00 where you’ll be entertained by a local student three piece band and you’ll be welcomed to the dinner by Maggie Galliers CBE, Chair of the NHF.

There is no dress code for the dinner but we would advise smart/casual.

Day two

We will be holding an optional 'net walk' on the morning of day two where delegates will be taken on a 30 minute walk of the local area. If you would like to attend please meet in the hotel lobby of the venue hotel at 08:30 and look out for Becca with a yellow lanyard!

We will also be holding two breakfast sessions from 08:40 before the main event starts at 09:15. Sessions will run until 15:30 and again there is no need to pre-select sessions. The only sessions with a limited capacity on day two is "Chairs talking" which runs between 11:00 and 12:00 and is limited to Chairs only, and the roundtable at 12:45 – 13:45 which is limited to 40 people.
